2018 CPR/AED and First Aid Courses

While you can’t predict when an emergency will occur, you can be prepared.  American Red Cross training can give you the knowledge and skills you’ll need to respond to a life-threatening situation.

American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training will teach you to:

  • Care for conscious and unconscious choking victims
  • Perform CPR
  • Use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on a victim of sudden cardiac arrest
  • Give first aid for a variety of injuries, such as burns, wounds, head, neck and back injuries, and heat and cold-related emergencies
  • Manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure, bites and poisoning

  • WHERE:  Pikes Peak Council BSA Service Center, Conference/Training Rooms                                                                                                          985 W. Fillmore Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80907  (I-25 & Fillmore)
  • WHO: Registered members of the BSA.  Limit 12 participants per course (minimum of 4)

    DETAILS: Bring snacks/meal as appropriate since breaks are limited.  You may reschedule prior to a course if another course has space available or if you find someone else to take your place.  Attendance at the entire course is required for certification.  American Red Cross certification is valid for 2 years.
