The tour will make a stop on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Keller Park 4950 Meadowland Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918 and Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located 4955 Meadowland Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.

The purpose of the tour is to commemorate the Order of the Arrow’s 100th anniversary. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the Order of the Arrow, its story, and its future. Some of the program highlights include interactive exhibits, activities such as silk-screening and branding, and challenge games. Participants will have a chance to meet some of the Order’s national leaders, and alumni can learn about the Scouting Alumni Association and local alumni efforts to supporting Scouting in our area.

The program will conclude with a special show that recognizes the Order’s rich history and empowers participants to help shape the organization’s future. The Order of the Arrow is creating a truly unique and interactive experience for all Scouts, volunteers, and Scouting alumni.

The tour will open at 2:00 PM and will conclude at 7:00 PM.

 ****** HELP NEEDED *******

Wimachtendienk, Wingolauchsik, Witahemui

An opportunity for service! With the arrival of the ArrowTour to Pikes Peak Council on Saturday, 25 July there is a need for help to setup and break down the ArrowTour exhibits but also to run the exhibits as well as the Lodge’s booth, concession stand, and trading post. Here’s what we need:

Setup 12:00- 1:30 need 20
Staff booths 1:30 - 3:00 need 12 to 15
Staff booths 3:00 - 4:30 need 12 to 15
Staff booths 4:30 - 6:00 need 12 to 15
Staff booths 6:00 - 7:30 need 12 to 15
Break down 7:00 - 8:30 need 20

ArrowTour has asked that as many of the setup crew as possible also help with the break down since there is a precise way of packing the truck. If you saw it come out, you would remember how it goes in. This is also more demanding physically. They would like us to help with their trading post, the silk-screen booth, and the branding booth (each with two people at a time, the branding requires 16 or older).

The Lodge will have a concession stand, a history/information booth, and its trading post so help is needed for these as well as supervising the Lodge Ball and Gaga pit activities areas.

This opportunity is open to all as the ArrowTour is open to all. If you want to serve for as little or as long as you like, please contact Andrew McCreight at 719-237-9843 or amccr8@excite.com or amccr875@yahoo.com. Thanks!
