         Welcome to the ScoutReach District!

ScoutReach History

The ScoutReach District began as part of the Pikes Peak Council's program for assisted membership to those Scouting families in need of support.  In 2013, the Pikes Peak Council establish ScoutReach as its own district in order to promote Scouting into the schools of Harrison and Colorado Springs School Districts while providing leadership to those volunteers in ScoutReach units.  With partnerships with the three Colorado Springs community centers (Hillside, Meadows Park and Deerfield Hills) ScoutReach has expanded it programs to those neighboring communities.  Through ScoutReach, the Scouting program is able to provide the Scouting experience to City of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region for all youth in urban and rural areas thus continuing a Century of Service to the Pikes Peak Region.

ScoutReach Purpose:

To recruit strong adult leaders and to develop solid relationships with chartered organizations in urban and rural communities to ensure that culturally diverse youth have the opportunity to the Scouting program.

ScoutReach Vision Statement:

ScoutReach reflects the diversity of the urban and rural neighborhoods and communities that it serves and uses that strength to enhance satisfaction and enrich the lives of both Youth and Adult alike through Scouting.
