Troop 1 Members Do a Good Turn

Although we are just beginning another fun filled year, it’s never too late to start thinking about your 2018 Good Turn Ticket.

What is a Good Turn Ticket?

For all of our newer members, a good turn ticket may be submitted to recognize any service you have provided to Scouting outside of your assigned position. For example, if you served as Campmaster at Glen Aspen or Camp A, that is a service to Scouting that counts. Did you help on an Eagle Project? Did you help on a training program, but are not a member of the Training Committee? These are additional service hours that Wood Badgers provide, outside of their assigned positions, and entitle you to complete a Wood Badge Good Turn Ticket.

Good Turn Service

How do I do it?

You can register your ticket at this link. There is also a pdf fillable form on the Pikes Peak Council website under the resources tab at the above link. If you do not elect to enter the information at the above link (NOTE: online is EASIEST!), You can download and fill out the form, then save a copy to print and drop it off in the drawer at the Council office. You can also email the completed form to Andy McCreight ( You may also take the completed form to the Council office and put it in the Wood Badge drawer in the History room. There are also blank copies of the form in the drawer, or one of the lovely ladies behind the front desk would be happy to give you one. Your Good Turn Ticket is due by December 1st of each year.

Why Should I do it?

The Good Turn Ticket promotes and recognizes additional service. We will recognize all who have provided Good Turns at the 2018 Wood Badge Feast, which will be held in January of 2018

Hope to see you all at the feast.
