Silver Beaver Nominations

The Silver Beaver Award was introduced in 1931 and is a council-level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America.  Recipients of this award are registered Scouters who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council.  The Silver Beaver is an award given to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service.  This is the highest award that a council can bestow on a volunteer.

Do you know a deserving volunteer that fits this description?  Nominate them now.  Nominations are due to the Council Office by February 24th, 2017.  Please find a nomination form HERE.

Nominations can be dropped off at the front desk or scanned and emailed to brandon.vavra@scouting.org

The award ceremony will take place at the Council Recognition Dinner on April 26th.
