OVERNIGHT CAMPING IS WEATHER PERMITTING!
- If it is raining or rains, it will be at the Scout Leader’s, parents and volunteer’s discretion as to whether or not they would choose to continue camping out on the field.
- If there is a very large down pour, a decision will be made (by Sky Sox head groundskeeper) as to whether or not we (Sky Sox) can continue allowing “overnight participants” to continue camping in the outfield. We will notify everyone once a decision has been made.
- IF THERE IS LIGHTNING, overnight participants will have to immediately leave the outfield where Sky Sox staff will direct them to a safe area.
- This year there will be fireworks and it is sky sox policy to run the sprinklers during the fireworks show as a safety precaution. Because of this we encourage units to bring a tarp to keep their tent dry. NO STAKES ALLOWED.
